Web Key IT is offering a one-week online training course in Digital Accessibility. The course features interactive live lectures by digital accessibility experts and includes additional short assignments leading to the awarding of a Certificate of Completion.

Course Outline

We are looking at running this course again in October 2020- dates to be finalized, commencing at 9 am each day. The live lecture/discussion portion will take one hour each day. The live portions will be recorded allowing anyone who misses a lecture a chance to catch up at their convenience. Alternate course times may be offered to suit other time zones, dependent upon enrolment.

The course includes short assignments to be submitted by the participants. 

A certificate will be available for successful completion of the course and allows a two-week period to catch up on any assignments.

The course includes an introduction to digital accessibility together with instruction in the steps required to conduct an initial in-house evaluation of the participant’s website. Such a preliminary evaluation enables organizations to determine at a high level whether there are issues needing remediation before conducting a full third-party audit of the website. It is like conducting a preliminary in-house financial evaluation in preparation for a full audit.

Discounts are available for multiple enrolments from one organization and ACS members are entitled to a 10% discount.
